TV vs Movies
There is no question that a career in the entertainment industry is dramatic peaks and valleys of success. Some days you feel so confident in where you are and where you are going and other days you feel like you are still on the very first rung of the ladder. I wrapped principal photography on my second feature in March. It was so fun and stressful and stimulating and exciting and those feelings lingered for a few months afterward.

So, I am stepping out of my comfort zone and returning to the theatre. I haven't directed a play in five years so I am a bit nervous but I know I will sharpen some of my directing skills. Directing a play is like taking the rehearsal process of a film, slowing it down and holding it under a microscope.

Well, since completion of my last feature, I have retreated back to my other life. That of a script supervisor by day, director in the tiny bit of time I have left. To be clear, I love my job.
