What are the elements of this compelling story that you can use in a screenplay? Firstly, I’d say the hottest genre today in film is horror + supernatural. Not only does MACBETH have supernatural plus horror elements, it is a supreme example of a political-crime-love tragedy that has fascinated audiences for 500 years.
