Being this is my first blog, I thought I'd tell you a bit about myself. I was raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA “land of zombies”. My interest in art began early, much of which I learned from my mother who had an artistic streak herself. When I was 13 I remember seeing a behind the scenes special on HBO about Return of the Jedi. I was fascinated, here were these guys making their drawings into real moving life! I knew at that moment that would be the career for me. So, after a tour in the Marines I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where I earned an associates degree in Industrial design. In 2001 I moved to Los Angeles to pursue the career I loved. Now 8 years later I can say I truly love my job and can’t think of anything Id rather do.
