Shooting ‘Feed The Fish’
When you're making a little indie movie, you really have to be able to think on your feet; in my opinion, more so than on a film that's had ample prep and has some resources to deal with unforeseen problems. Week Two on 'Feed The Fish' was a testament to this little idea of mine and was as hard as the previous week... if not harder

That was a heck of a thing to see on a camera display! A-Camera was a trooper, however, so we pushed on. And B-Camera eventually completed its black balance, and became a vital part of the camera team. Kudos to Data Manager/RedTech Spencer Meffert and to 2nd Unit DP/Op Victor Zorba for staying on top of it without affecting the workload that day.

Principle photography on ‘Feed The Fish’ started in a little apartment above a local diner, The Viking Grill, which is known for its Fish Boils. I’ve never experienced a Fish Boil, but I’m looking forward to one someday.
